"Closing the Bones" is an ancient postpartum healing ritual from South America, primarily Ecuador and Mexico, that helps a woman's body, mind, and spirit recover after childbirth . The ceremony involves a warm oil massage and the use of a long, woven cloths, called rebozos, to gently bind and rock the woman's body, helping to "close the bones", focusing on the pelvic area, that have expanded during pregnancy and birth. It is my aim to create a sacred space for the new parent
